• Hi,
I have a few websites. I wanted to move them off my Godaddy hosting package to another hosting package I have on the same Godaddy account. I did this and then decided to move them back to their original hosting. However my websites have lost all their content. I am sure that they must be on a database somewhere but I dont know how to restore the sites.

Can anyone help with a step by step?

    Thanks a lot
    Richard

  • Hi,

A step by step is far too long to write out here. You can follow along with the Codex article for that.

Can you provide us with a step by step of what you did?

    Thanks,
    Evan

    Thanks.
All I did was remove the websites Url from the hosting by pressing remove. I went into my other hosting plan on same account and clicked add domain. I added the domain. I then saw that this hosting plan isn’t right for me and wanted to move the domain back to the original hosting. So I clicked remove domain. Then in my original hosting I clicked add domain. It asked for a folder to add it to and I named a folder by the same name as the url, which is what I had originally done.
