• Hello guys,
    I currently installed and running WP in my server. (xx.com/myblog/ )

    Now I need to transfer it to my root directory. How can I do that without losing any data,

    and specially need to setup my same database.
    how can I do that?

    Sir,
    I tried the 2nd method.
    and i did exactly what thay said,
    and I got this lines,

    Now my WP is in xx.com/myblog

    and the index file and .htaccse files are in the root,
    I changed the header also.

    my wp admin works fine, but cudnt access mt blog ??

    then one of the url’s in
    admin – settings
    is incorrect
    review the instructions for proper url

    Sir, thanks for ur time,
    I did it again, but no use,

    and I did the 1st method, its worked.
    so i am using it in my root directory without any trouble.

    but I prefer to use it on another directory, cos I can test many templates, and can do more testing works,
