Move WordPress Site from one URL to Another
-
Hey everyone, here’s my situation that I need help with.
- I originally installed a WordPress site via Mojo on the default IP we were given during Bluehost hosting sign up at “https://66.147.244.240/~navigax2/”
- The domain “navigatingip.com” was hosted under GoDaddy.
- I updated the DNS servers to point “navigatingip.com” to Bluehost, so now visiting “navigatingip.com” will take you to the homepage installed at “https://66.147.244.240/~navigax2/”.
- However, visiting any other page will change the URL in the web browser bar to “https://66.147.244.240/~navigax2/…”
- How can I, without having to recode every link, image file, etc., ensure that all users will see “navigatingip.com/…” on any page that they visit? I essentially need every “66.147.244.240/~navigax2/” portion of the URL to automatically be “navigatingip.com” instead.
Thanks for your help everyone!
