• Greetings all! I’m using the Blix theme and was wondering if there was an easy way to move my sidebar from its default location on the right of the page to the left? I’ve tried looking in layout.css but couldn’t find any mention of the sidebar.
    Many Thanks,
    ash

  • I don’t have Blix installed so I can try it right now, but a quick glance at the css suggests that you could experiment with changing #content to “float:right;” and #subcontent to “float:left;” to reverse them.

Btw, an easy way to find out the id or class of an element is to highlight it in firefox and use “Show selection source” in the context menu.

newflesh, thanks for the suggestion! Swapping the float values worked fine. However, it doesn’t get rid of (or move to the left) the vertical line all down the page that normally separates the sidebar from the main content. Any idea which bit of code defines this?

Probably a background image. Try aligning it to the other side of whatever element it’s the background of, and maybe flip it in an image editor.
