Would it be relatively easy to move the search box to show at the top or inside the menu nav when viewed on mobile screens? On desktop it’s at the top in the widget area, but on mobile it’s only available at the extreme bottom of the page and essentially inaccessible and undiscoverable.

I’ve been searching through the files (I created a child theme) but still haven’t figured out where such a change might be.

I guess I could do it really ugly with a jQuery statement that moves that page element after pageload, but … yuck.

    ??

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @shawnkeenegmailcom,

    Thanks for reaching out!
The search widget is part of the sidebar. On desktop there is enough room to display the sidebar on the right/left side of the screen. However, on mobile because the width is smaller, the sidebar will be displayed under the page’s content, including the search widget. The search widget cannot be moved to the top because it’s part of the sidebar. This is how the theme was designed at the moment, I’m sorry.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

Darn, I was really hoping I could customize my child-theme created by it to modify the template and just move that snippet elsewhere. Thanks anyway.
