The data is saved in your WordPress database; if you move the WordPress database as part of your move, then you should maintain everything.

Hi was able to get everything over. All info is in wp admin but it does not display on the calendar?

Did you move over the posts table, as well? If not, you can run the rebuild routine to insert the event data into the posts table from the general settings.

I did not…I don’t know if I am doing it correctly….I keep getting a duplicate error.

When do you get the ‘duplicate’ error? Is it when rebuilding event data, or when trying to import posts from the database?

    When I import from database

If you created new posts on the live site between when you created events on the dev site and when you went to import them, then what you’ve got is a database conflict: both databases contain different posts with the same IDs, so they can’t be merged directly.

How many events are we talking about that you created in the dev environment?

I created new events after the import. There are 20 that imported in. They are there in “Events” but do not show on the actual calendar. Do I need to delete them and redo?
