Move package files between folders on host server?

    Hi.
    I’ve looked through the documentation, and pages of Support queries, but can’t find the answer to:
    Q. Can I copy the package files directly from one folder to another on my host?
    I want to test a WP and Theme upgrade, the package created is large, and my upload speed v.slow … if I can copy the files directly between folders on the server, it will save about an hour each time!
    I’ve looked in the snapshot folder, and the names don’t match what I’d expect for a normal download … can I just rename them by removing the prefix?

    Hey davidmcc3,

    If you just using the package and installer to reinstall at a new location (in your case I think just a new folder on the same server). You can copy the installer and package file out to a new location and run it from there. You shouldn’t have to rename anything. The installer will automatically detect that zip file…
