• Hello,

Very new to all this, but managing to get where i need to be with the site i am building. One thing i’m stuck on is placement of the menu bar – titled Models. Its a bit low on the main page. How can i raise this up so its level with the start of the main text?

I’ve tried a few css snippets but nothing seems to move it

    Many thanks

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • You’re using a footer widget for your menu, so , of course, your menu will be displayed in the footer or bottom of the page.

Use the designated “TOP MENU” location and your problem will be solved.

Go to APPEARANCE => MENUS, create a new menu (if you haven’t done so already), and make sure to check the “TOP MENU” location as pictured below. You should then have a horizontal menu similar to the one on this demo site: https://twentyseventeendemo.wordpress.com/

UPDATE: Just to add that the menu system supports drop-down sub-menus, so you could name the main menu label “MODELS” and make the individual models sub-menus.

Thank you George, i’ve got the menu moved from the footer to the main area.. thank you.

As you elude to, a drop down menu on the “Models” is what i now want to acheive.

I’ll do some searching and see how this is achievable.. but might be back!
