Move install from XAMP to MAMP

  • Can anyone detail for me the process of moving a local install from XAMP to MAMP? I am considering switching to MAMP but I have an ongoing project in play so it would not be a fresh install on the new MAMP server. Is it pretty much the same as migrating from local to live server or are there other details I need to be aware of?
