Move folder to root w/redirects?
-
This is a multiple-question post, so I hope it isn’t too complicated where someone can help me out. ??
My current site contains a few articles that still get a significant amount of hits (despite being outdated). So, I didn’t want to just nuke everything and redirect to my blog folder.
Main:www.btvillarin.com
Blog:blogged.btvillarin.com
How can I move the blog so it’s in the main directory, while still keeping the lame…I mean, main site…still intact? And is it possible for .htaccess to redirect any page accesses from the old blog location to the new one?
Example:
https://blogged.btvillarin.com/2004/11/29/yellowcard-rocks/
https://www.btvillarin.com/2004/11/29/yellowcard-rocks/
(I don’t use the WP archives’ link structure.)
This’d be a huge help for me, it isn’t a minor project. Hopefully I can run WP and totally rely on it as a backend for the whole site, other than the IPB forums. ??
Thanks!
