Move Files Not Copy?

  • Hi,

    I was reading this thread last week and i thought i saw that the import actually moves the files to the upload folder. Now after playing with it i see that it technically stays where it is but its just available in the media folder. I found that out because i had been deleting them AFTER importing them. do you know if there is a way to modify the settings so that it actually moves the files and makes a copy in a different location?

    Since you posted your question in multiple threads, I’ll just quote what I replied elsewhere:

    If they’re uploaded to a directory outside of the uploads directory, they’re copied. If they’re uploaded to the Uploads directory, they’re used as-is.

    There are no settings to alter this, and no planned changes for the plugin in the near future. The plugin is officially now unsupported.
