Move featured image position

  • Hi

    I’m using a featured image on a page, but it seems to select the image from the centre for it’s positioning and therefore cuts out the top of the picture, which I want to display. Does anybody know how I can move the image down or select the top of the image rather than the middle? Or manually re-position this?

    Is there a plugin that anybody knows of that can assist with this? I’ve tried one called manual image crop, but this didn’t really work.

    Any help is appreciated, thanks.

    Or if anybody knows how to set an image for a link in a parent page using a grid template, but the child page doesn’t use it as a featured image?

    I’ve heard good things about the Post Thumbnail Editor plugin:

    You could hide the featured image with CSS if you went this route.
