I have the would like to move the “Course Discussion” button that appears on my course content that has a forum associated with it over to the sidebar instead of having it display inline at the bottom of the content on every page of my course. Is there a shortcode or a widget that I can use to display this button in my sidebar? I can hide it in my content area using css.

Hi jenfilgate, Course Discussion button is already in sidebar from beginning.

If you need to hide them you can do that do with custom css.

Perhaps it is my theme then that has it showing at the bottom of the content, rather than in the sidebar. I have hidden it with css and only displayed it on the pages that we want it visible.

I use the Buddyboss theme and it is also at the bottom of the content just before the table of content of the course.

Any custom code to add it in a php text widget would be really nice.
