Hi, I need to move all my existing uploaded images on my WP installation to Google drive and have already set the plugin to default load all future images to google drive. The way I was thinking to best do this was move all the existing image folders into the “gdwpm_images” folder, and then use my bulk find and replace to change all existing posts’ image URL’s from /uploads/imagename. to /uploads/gdwpm_images/foldername/imagename.

Will this work? If not, can you please tell me the easiest way to do it?

    Thanks!

“gdwpm_images” folder just helper to rewrite original urls
    You have to upload manually

    Thanks!

because You are logged in as *@developer.gserviceaccount.com (client Service Account) that only have access to “Shared with Me” and your existing files/folders uploded into “My Drive”.

    1. login to https://drive.google.com/?authuser=0#shared-with-me.
    2. select folder that has been created by this plugin, click “Add to My Drive”.
    3. Now the folder has been included into “My Drive” and you have an access to insert existing files into this folder.

to insert or move existing files

    1. click “My Drive”, and you will see your existing files/folders including folder from “Shared with Me” that you have been added before.
    2. select files (not folder) and then click “More” to show the dropdown menu, click “Move to”.
    3. select folder from “Shared with Me” that you have been added before, click “Move”

note: your files must be set to public to allows anyone to view or download your files
