Mouse over events and settings for in, out, loops

  • Hi Guys,

    First, thanks for all of this. It’s amazing to be able to export my animations out of AE with such a tiny footprint and still have them look so good. The possibilities are endless!

    Can I suggest a few feature additions for the next release?

    – The ability to specify a in, loop, and out json animations. That or a single json file with in and out frames specified for each section
    – Mouse over triggering of animations

    Thanks for the suggestions, we are working to have mouse triggered animations in the next release.
    About the in/loop/out animations, we are looking into it. How would you use that?
    Care to give an example?

    Here is an example. I work with a client that needs animations on the website. There is the animation of apparition of the elements, and then there needs to be a constant loop of some elements moving around.

    The problem is that I can’t loop the animation file from a specific point, so that I don’t have the initial animation in the loop.

    There is this solution anim.playSegments(). I don’t know if I can somehow use it with your plugin, but it works like a charm. Here is a forum topic on this: https://github.com/airbnb/lottie-web/issues/579

    So yeah, this would be a pretty nice functionality.

    Would love to see mouse over events!!

    Mouse over triggered animations would be very useful!

    Also the specific in, out, and loop option would be very nice feature.
