Most relevant (relevance) search priority not working

Hi! You’ll need to check if there is no other code forcing the main WP_Query to order by date (I see the dropdown with the “most relevant” option selected but you’ll need to double-check how is that changing the WP_Query arguments.)

Also, you could try to disable the weight by date functionality. In the ElasticPress Features page, open the Post Search box, check Disabled on Weight results by date, and save it.
