Hello, we have a section called ‘Most Read’ on the righthand column of the homepage that has the WordPress Popular Posts feed. However, it hasn’t updated in a couple weeks and it usually changes daily or at least multiple times a week. I tried deactivating our caching plugins to see if that would make a difference, but it doesn’t.

I noticed in the WP admin view under the plugin settings, I can see different posts listed on there versus what is visible on the homepage. Do you know what could be causing it to not update properly and get stuck?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @myntillae,

Just checked your website and everything seems to be working as intended, and as you already figured out this isn’t a caching issue (at least doesn’t seem like it IMO). It’s most likely a configuration issue.

What settings are you using with your popular posts list? Also, please share the information displayed at WP Dashboard > Settings > WordPress Popular Posts > Debug.

I also manually cleared the cache directly through the plugin, and that seemed to help, however, I noticed that it’s pulling up the error of ‘Sorry, no data to display.’ Is that because I set the log limit to 7 days? I realized that might’ve been a mistake. Oops.

Hello, following up on this. The posts in the list seem to just get stuck and don’t refresh like they should. They used to update daily, and now they get stuck for weeks.

I’ve tried manually clearing the cache through the plugin settings, but is there a way to adjust the settings so it will refresh daily manually. I have caching turned on for every minute, but it still seems to get stuck somehow unless I manually clear the cache.

    Hey @myntillae,

Sorry for not replying earlier, completely slipped my mind.

From the info you shared before I don’t see any obvious issues.

What settings are you using with your popular posts list? Also, do you remember any changes around the time it “stopped updating”?
