    Hi @caveflyer

I’m having a look at the galleries on the two different pages. Both of them are using the Masonry template and both of them actually have the Masonry look from my end and are displayed based on the settings you configured for each gallery.

From my end, they both look okay, with none having an unusual layout. Here’s a link to a screenshot of the gallery on the first page (https://www.robertlaird.com/blog/tuktoyaktuk-and-inuvik/) you shared with us: https://prnt.sc/OBwwHMhJlpRH

Here’s a link to the screenshot of the gallery on the second page: https://prnt.sc/GSqeOptYOG5M

These two screenshots were taken from my Chrome browser, and they both have the correct Masonry layout. Kindly let me know if you are seeing something different on any or all of those pages, or if you expected a different kind of layout, kindly elaborate further on that so that I can fully understand what you want to be implemented.

    Thanks.

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

(For the record, I typically use Firefox for 99% of my work, but I usually check a site with another browser to ensure they look the same.)

Yes, the 1st and 2nd groups of images are more-or-less working the same… the 2nd group has all very consistent images (height x width) and so they look fixed, rather than various sizes. Frankly, I was having trouble with JetPack’s tiled mosaic gallery, so I tried switching to Foo Gallery. Overall, the Foo Gallery *works* much better, but I still prefer the varied layout look of JetPack, for example:

…where some images are given a larger representation in the gallery view, and it all gives a better impression (IMO, of course). I wish that Foo Gallery mosaic would do the same.

    Thanks.

    Hi @caveflyer

You can actually give your galleries on your page a layout such as the one on this page https://texas-flyer.com/newblog/2021/10/16/lsrc-fly-in-2021/ using the FooGallery Justified Gallery template.

Kindly try out that FooGallery template and see it you’ll like it!

    Kind regards,
    Elvis.

Thank you, Elvis. I did try the Justified Gallery but, other than removing the wider “frame” around each picture, it didn’t alter the rigid-looking row & column layout….. it’s still rather staid compared to the JetPack mosaic. I will stick with Foo Gallery, and will suggest it to others — primarily because it works quite well — but I do wish it could better emulate the more visually appealing mosaic. I very much appreciate your efforts!
