More User Roles and Endpoints
-
Hello Sir,
WooCommerce is the best thing that ever happened to e-commerce within the WordPress Space. But I’m sad that after this many years of existence, WooCommerce has not evolved in it’s User Role and capability structure.
How can there be only 2 Roles? Store Manager and Customer?
This is too narrow. I request WooCommerce to add one new Role Called “Staff”. This person can sign in and Add Products, view Products. But cannot delete anything, and cannot edit anything, except the Products this person Added.
And this Role should be assigned by Admin from Backend, while this person must Create Account and Sign in/Login through the “My Account Page”.
The idea of this is that, the Admin may be busy with other things, and may need someone to be able to add and upload products to the site without this peron need to go to the back end. I believe that it is this front end “Staff Role” that solves this problem.
REQUEST NUMBER 2
WooCommerce has made money for many years through WordPress. Now I’m asking if WooCommerce would be very kind to have an Additional Field in the WooCommerce Dashboard of Admin called “Custom Endpoint” and this functionality gives Admin the chance to Add at least 2 Custom Endpoints to his WooCommerce Dashboard–which Admin can link to anything on the site.
And if Admin needs More Endpoints, Admin has to now buy a Pro version of Endpoint hooks or plugin.
Is this request something that WooCommerce would be so kind and so generous as to make available?
Waiting to hear from you soon.
Regards
