    Hi,

    Since the Schema plugin is developed towards marking up WordPress content, it won’t include specific schema.org types such as Product.

    Yes, I would think of implementing this for e-commerce and product reviews sites, however it won’t be part of the core plugin, this should be done via an extension for the Schema plugin.
