More than one language switcher per page

    I am building a site and the client would like a translate toggle in the header and in the footer. When I put the shortcode link in either, they work, but in both, only 1 works (the first called on the page).

    <?php echo do_shortcode('[google-translator]'); ?>

    Is there a way to have more than one per page?
