    Hello Jeff!

I noticed that there has been a change in the mail option as a result of the latest update:

Until version 3.3.4, I had successfully received notifications about bad bots to two mail addresses (separated by commas). With the update this function no longer works, because after saving the settings both mail addresses are combined.

From: [email protected], [email protected] changes to [email protected]

Since I’m probably the only one who uses this, make a note of it for the next release and I’ll manage differently until then ??

    Many thanks & greetings!

    Hey @wp-henne, glad to help.

As far as I know Blackhole supports only one email for alerts. But it sounds like a useful feature to support multiple addresses, so I’ve added to the to-do list for the next update.

Thanks for the feedback, much appreciated ??

    Hi Jeff!

    Nope!

Not a bug, is a feature – as it sometimes is *rofl*

It had certainly just worked like that for a few years now, on its own ??

Here you can see the comma and guess that there were two recipients. I don’t have older mails, but I’m sure it’s been like this since 2020…

Then take it as a feature ??

Yeah that is amazing tbh ??

Certainly possible that some wires got crossed somewhere in the latest version. I will get it fixed up next update.

    Questions:

    1) this is for the free version of the plugin, correct?

    2) and just to check, the current version email alerts are working OK?

    Thank you sir.

    1) Yes, this is the free verson
    2) The 3.3.5 sends, but only to one recipient

Look at this video with 3.3.4: https://ibb.co/NnSRVnV
and this with 3.3.5: https://ibb.co/6bcMg9z which “destroys” the entered mail addresses. It is therefore the form or the form control and not directly the sending.

Good that you have asked. So I could specify this again.

    Perfect, thanks again @wp-henne.

Just to follow up with this, the next version of Blackhole for Bad Bots supports multiple recipients for email alerts. Thanks for the idea, @wp-henne.

    Hello @specialk

GREAT, yes, I confirm that this extension* runs successfully!

Note: Also all other customizations in the new version do not affect the use of the hooks.

    *is back again ??
