How I can set up to have the WordPress 2.2 blog over all to continue to use the current theme, while having selected Topic Pages use different theme(s)?

Some Topic Pages should have differing banners with links than the main page of posts, or a page to read single post & its comments.

The selected customized 3k2redux-klein single theme currently applies to postings, pages of a given post containing follow up comments, and to Topic Pages (or sub-pages).
