More Social Networks, More Consistent Icons, More Links (patch)

    I decided to do away with my old contact page in favor of this widget and so far I’m pretty happy with the result.

    I did run into missing a couple social networks and that some of the icons were a bit inconsistent. Also, I felt that some fields needed links when they didn’t have them.

    I therefore made a changed version, which can be downloaded from https://westergaard.eu/personal-contact-info-widget.php.txt (just rename to personal-contact-info-widget.php with out .txt).

    Changes from 1.2:

    • Add App.net, Steam, Last.fm, Spotify
    • Change icons for a couple social networks to ones with rounded square to be more consistent (you have to re-enter the URL as a consequence)
    • Make E-mail, phone and alternate web-site links
    • Correctly close PHP block

    You can see the changed version in action on my homepage. Hope it’s useful to others.

    Updated to version 1.2.2, adding in addition to 1.2.1 above:

    • Add option to forcibly break line of social network icons

    Ok, almost done… 1.2.3 adding

    • Support for Academia.edu
    • Icon for website as well (like for phone and e-mail)

    • Option to control social media icon size
    • Move social media icon count option to social media group and reorder for improved clarity
    • Group social media icons more logically

    Also, if suitable, it’s totally fine if my changes are added to the official release so I don’t have to bother patching when an official update comes out ??
