[more] Media Library vs Uploads

After trying media uploads from the Page edit/Image Upload module and getting repeated An error occurred in the upload… msgs, I checked the server and found that images were indeed being uploaded, to a Yr/Mo subdir – but still incurred the error on the listing phase. No library images appear on that page, but the main Media Library finds them all. It looks like the Page edit/Upload has an odd destination address but I can’t see how to fix it. I probably confused it by newbie setting changes, but there must be a central Media Library setting that has the correct & consistent address. Help??
