More Link Test Being Output in Feed

Hi, I’m using the plugin for a Mailchimp RSS feed. The defaults work great for my purposes (being able to grab image(s) from the post itself in feed for a MailChimp email), except it outputs the post id number as read more link in the content, no matter what I do. Even if I filter out elements using “show clean html” option (which I don’t want to do) it still shows the post id number.
I’ve searched high and low for a solution or a way to filter out this class of “more-link”, which ends up looking like this in the RSS feed:
The read more links are standard Gutenberg read more links used in posts. Would appreciate any suggestions or direction on how to approach solving this.
