(more..) link change

Whe I click that link – on your page or any other WP page – it opens with the sentence underneath the –more– tag at the top so that I can continue reading and not lose my place.

Indeed.. I thought it went to the bottom, but it does go under the more tag. You’re right.
However, I still want it to stay at the top rather than scroll down any number of lines.

the letters (indications) after # take you to that part.
For example:
If you have https://losthamster.com/blog/index.php?p=3#more-3
it takes you to this part of your page (try looking at your source)
So if you just want to stay at the top remove the # part
