Google does not instantly update paths when they change. Based on what comes up when I google site:pathconsulting.net, it would seem that (1) you moved to WordPress very recently and (2) you originally had query string URLs before changing to pretty permalinks.

If you want to improve the chance that your search listings will be updated quickly, there are a couple of basic things you can do, off the top of my head. First, you should ensure that you have a sitemap generator plugin installed to enable search engines to index your site more efficiently. Install either an all-in-one SEO plugin that includes sitemap generation or a standalone plugin. Secondly, you can take control of your website through Google Webmaster Tools and have your website re-fetched. You can also use those tools to remove out-of-date links to your pre-Wordpress site.

    Cyril,

    THANKS!

I have a sitemap generator and plugged it into Google webmaster tools. I guess I need to be patient. Do you know roughly how long it takes Google to update?
