I didn’t check the other templates, but it seems that new lines entered in the attribution template causes it to fail.

It also seems to process a given template tag only once?, and/or it won’t process them outside of tags or specific html tags.

My thought was to output all the available image info into an html comment block, or other html tags, for human legibility and copy/cut convenience.

Overall, liking this plugin, eager to see it mature.
    Thanks!

Thanks for your comment. Just tested and you are right about those issues. I will look into that.

Not sure what you mean here though:

Could you expand on what exactly you want to do?

    Thanks for your quick reply.

Yes, that wasn’t so clear.. but it was extraneous info anyway.

I’d initially experimented with the Attribution Template by copy/pasting your options page text, ‘Available Template Tags’:

{keyword} – The keyword you searched for with WP Inject.
{author} – Flickr name or username of the author.
{link} – Link to the image page on Flickr
{cc_icon} – A small creative commons icon with a link to the license
{license_name} – The name of the creative commons license the photo uses
{license_link} – The link to the creative commons license the photo uses

..a quick means to read values, comparing a few pics.. mainly to see the different licences/link text from Flickr vs Pixabay.
Then thinking that list could be handy in production.. to copy, record, reference later if need-be… I’d wrap in an HTML comment so it wouldn’t render when staging (me) or if removal was overlooked altogether. (clients ??

My main point was that the no-newline thing & tag’s single-use is limiting.. prevents doing anything like the above.

Hmm, might you be considering doing editable templates for the media’s properties; title, caption, alt text, description?

I’ve a couple other thoughts/questions but suppose I should put in new posts, appropriately titled?

    Thanks again!

I agree and will see if I can improve that with the next update.

The title, alt text, etc can all be changed in the image template already or am I missunderstanding what you mean here.

Feel free to put them in here.
