More difficult to set up than it should be.

Setting up this theme can be really confusing. I’m trying to get content below the black banner and the black banner is taking everything I enter into itself so that I can’t actually display any information on the website’s home page. I’ve Google’d around quite a bit for how to set up this theme and can’t find anything to help. This is really frustrating, as it’s a good looking theme that I’d like to use a lot, but I can’t get this seemingly basic function to work.
