• Love the plugin but I believe there should be separate settings for enabling tweets on new posts and on post updates.

Editing in full or even quick editing from the posts list triggered a number of tweets I didn’t need to send out to my followers because I was simply updating tags. One checkbox for globally enabling auto-tweets by default isn’t sufficient in this case.

I would also recommend a separate template for updated posts. I am currently using the “New post [yadda yadda]” version of the template and these were updates notified as new posts. It’s not huge but I can’t imagine i’m the first to be surprised by this.

Keep up the awesome work and I look forward to hopefully seeing these capabilities in a future version.

This actually shouldn’t be happening. Posts should only be tweeted when publishing them via the post editor (or from third-party apps, when enabled).

Do you have any other Twitter-related plugins active on your website?
