More content areas

  • Hi.

    I want to reconstruct this site making it less blog-like and more loaded with a lot of content areas. Can anyone recommend me smart methods for adding more content areas (besides custom widgets). Custom widgets are cool, but I’d like to be able to use short tags in these added areas.

    It’s important that I don’t mess with our posts, media etc. databases since an iPhone app is dependent on those.

    I practically haven’t got any php knowledge and no money for a programmer. But I’m hard working
