More commitment needed, guys keep it up !

  • Dear Gutenberg team,
    Don’t let the Fatigue creep in. Gutenberg needs more Motivation ! This could have been the game changer for WordPress. It started in 2018 and frankly it should have been proven by now.
    Keeping the Classic editor “alive” is a big mistake it almost indicates that you guys are not sure yet. It needs to be discarded, jQuery needs to go away.

    Honestly, it is increasingly becoming hard to compete with so many other platforms. WordPress is losing the race here ! This is the only hope for me.
    Also, guys we missed you at Frontity. Is it officially dead ?

    Also, guys we missed you at Frontity. Is it officially dead ?

    Regarding Frontity, I checked their website and see this notice at the top:

    “Frontity Framework is?not?under active development anymore. If you are?interested in becoming a maintainer,?please get in touch.
    For more details, please read this post”

    So if you have questions about Frontity, I’d suggest you get in touch with them directly. ?? Cheers!

    Oh, and one more thing, you are very welcome to help out with Gutenberg in some capacity, as it’s a volunteer-run project like all parts of WordPress Core, new contributors are always needed and appreciated. You can learn more about contributing here!
