    You can change it in the halloween-countdown.php of the plugin.
    Search and change on ca. line 21:
    background:#000 to background:#fff
    and
    color:#f57f00 to color:000

    It’s right in the description:

    No settings to adjust; nothing saved to your database; just add the shortcode [hcount] to any page, post, or Text widget. That’s it.

    The plugin is intentionally kept very simple and lightweight, but it can easily be customized with CSS how you like.

    Thank you very much for trying to help, but I wouldn’t advise customizing it that way, or it’ll wipe out your customizations every time you update.
