Month view, show only first day of multi day event

This plugin is fantastic! Just want to know if it is possible to on show on month view, just the the first day of a multi day event instead of spanning on the number of dates it is set to. Hope that makes sense ??
I found this some days ago but as I checked, the functions are depreciated since version 3.X.X
