I can’t find the reason behind this happening. All the other months are showing properly. It seems to be a bug in the backend.

Could I replace the plugin files through the FTP, without loosing all the events that have been created?

yes, you can replace the file but it should be the same version of EM and then do you have a sample link to your site with this issue for us to see?

I was going to replace the entire plugin folder.

I could be a jQuery conflict caused by your theme or another plugin. To check if it is, can you test with all other plugins deactivated and while running the default WordPress theme?
