Can you point me directly to the page with the calendar please?

Hello Nick. The page with the calendar was the one I published but I had to change it to an Iframe in the meantime for my users.
I set up this temporary page for you to see:

Thanks for your help and support

Hi, any success to report? We are having same problem.

I’ve got the same problem. – I think it started happening after I updated the plugin.

I’ve checked code inspector and the prev, next buttons are both still there. Just transparent…. however if I override the css to make them black they are displaying but doing nothing on click.

Do you have a piece of overriding css I can use to get these buttons working again.

    Thanks.

Have you guys tried changing the settings for the first/last event in the calendar? For me, the buttons stopped working properly / behaving erratically when I changed the date of the first event to be more than 1 year in the past.

My earliest is 1 month, latest is 3 months. Tried changing it with no effect.

Do you have events in the next month or previous months?

@mrmatteastwood your issue I think is different so let’s keep yours to the thread you started so we don’t get confused here. If they do end up having similarities or beiong the same after inspection then I will merge them.

    Thanks!

Nick, yes we have both prior and past events. Our last event in July is on July 29. The next event date is AUG 3. We can’t advance the cal to August.

    Thanks

    Hi,

I think I know the issue (at least for @pabloalvestegui). It seems you might have your “Theme” setting as “dark” when it should be the other way around. The arrow is just showing up as white, but it does actually work if you click in the area where it should be seen.

    @jeff829,

For yours it looks like you have some jQuery errors on your page. Try running through this to see if there are conflicts: https://docs.simplecalendar.io/troubleshooting-theme-plugin-widget-conflicts/

If you can get those errors cleaned up and it is still not working then let me know and I can look again.

For everyone else if you want me to look at yours also then please post your links to the page.

    Hi,

I have the same issue and have had it before and after the latest update –

    my site is aperturecinema.com

When you go into calendar (on the top menu) from the home page the arrows won’t work, but if you refresh the calendar page, the arrows will then work.

Nick, thanks for response. I changed theme to default and cal functioned. So wondering what next step is (besides using a different theme of course).

I changed to “dark” calendar also and now the arrow buttons show but still don’t function.

I set the theme to default and this made no difference. so I’m assuming its a plugin clash. i have very few plugins that i can not use though ??

I’ve just tried to deactivate ALL plugins but still no button functions.
I’m now going to check that there ARE events prev or next months…..

    ps. my calendar url: sakekamer.com/calendar/sakekamer-gebeure/

Hello, i also have the same problem. And having a responsive Google calendar is one of the most important aspects of this website i am working on. It was working great before the update.

I have used Theme Check and cleaned up more 99% of the them requirements. The problem is that i am unable to deactivate my plugins as i am in a multi site environment an many of the other websites.

I am really need of help on this issue cause just the embedded iframe of google is not Good enough.

I think i have figured out why it does not work for me. My website is full of personnal taxconomy and custom templates and the calendars next and previous buttons do not work but if i place a calendar in a regular page non template page it works.

Is it normal that it does not work in custom page templates? In the setting section is their a way to add custom templates to the list of choices?
