Montezuma 1.2.4 does not work properly with Wp 4.1

I am not having the same problem, and I am also running WP 4.1 with Montezuma 1.2.4. You can see my test site here:

Clicking on the number 2 or the Next tab takes you to the next page.

Did you try deactivating all of your plugins?

What is also interesting is that the link for tab 2 looks like this:

But on my test site, the link for tab 2 looks like this:

Not sure why they appear slightly different.

Your category pages also do not work. For example, if you look at the Music category, the tabs don’t work there, either. Did you make a change to the index.php file?

OK, I figured out the problem. It has to do with the fact that you are not using “pretty” permalinks. For example, note that all of your pages and posts look like this:

Try going to Settings > Permalinks and selecting a different permalink style. I like Day and name. See if that fixes the problem. You can always go back to the Default style if you want. In the mean time, I will research the issue and then contact the developers at BytesForAll if it seems to be a problem that was introduced with Montezuma 1.2.4.

I’ll try to change my permalinks. For me the Montezuma theme should work with default permalink . I do not have the issue with WP 4.1

That’s because I was testing out your problem using the Default permalink style. Try it now, I just changed the permalinks to Day and name.

I have just posted a bug report on the BytesForAll forum. The developers are usually pretty responsive in getting a fix out, so look for an update to the theme (I’ll also post here when a fix is available).

There were some changes in WP 4.1 see below link that may cause problem for montezuma

New Template Tags in 4.1

A fix has been provided. You can download a file from this thread if you are anxious to get it incorporated right away. I’m sure the next theme release will also have the fix, if you want to wait that long.
