I went through the steps tonight to create a Google Analytics account. I went to my WordPress website and clicked on MonsterInsights. MonsterInsights offered me the email address/Analytics email address I used to connect to Google Analytics. However, MonsterInsights, when I clicked “Allow,” I got
We were unable to get the profiles for this Google Analytics Account.

You’ll need to ensure you have a Google Analytics account at https://analytics.google.com/ (this is not the same as a Gmail account) and you will need to ensure you have a property setup for your domain.

I know there were some things in Google Analytics I didn’t know the significance of but I’m sure I did the basic stuff. • Solution is to create an “universal analytics” instead of a “data stream”.

    Hi!
I have just installed Monsterinsights and it doesn′t recognize the analytics account.
This analytics account was just created 2 days ago with “universal analytics” but yet doesn′t accept it.

    I need help!
