Initially the plugin used to work only on client facing website and the admin assets were added upon request from users.

I’ll add the option to exclude the admin section in the next release.

i would love it, if you also put in the admin, option to pick to execlude scripts or/and images stylesheets etc – whatever it caches (let the user control what is being caches), this way, each person can decide what he wants to cache, and also test on google page insights what works best for him

The option to exclude static files exists on the admin page of the plugin. Will roll out the new version in a few days

this option excist but for more advanced users, who knows what are there static files.

i on the other hand, as much as i have a lot of plugins and managed to make my cache on amazon better than on site ground (i tested both on live site), i am still not that advanced to know what are my static files.

i can however tell you, that testing the cdn, increase my page speed by 5 points and i suspect that if i will use the cdn just for images, then my speed will be increased by 10 points, this is why i asked if you could perhaps deploy it, but not in a way of a white box for me to define the files, because honestly i have no idea what they are.

Got it, will update this post when the new version is released.

hello lucky,
reset configuration button doesn’t work.
and i deleted manually the cloudfront earlier this week from aws, and now i can’t seem to generate a new cloudfront access.
how do i reset the configuration so i start fresh with the plugin?
i already deleted it and reinstalled but it still remember my old settings – which are not active

someone else also reported the same issue. I’ll check whats causing it to fail.

The Reset Configuration button has been fixed in the same version 1.4.8.

You may have to uninstall and reinstall the plugin

is this part a must?

In the CDN DOMAIN / CNAME box, add d2ioqhlf5kyv3d.cloudfront.net OR cdn.saveatrain.com
If you plan to use custom domain name, you will have to add a CNAME entry in your DNS pointing cdn.saveatrain.com to d2ioqhlf5kyv3d.cloudfront.net

lucky, i saw something weird.
when i checked google page insights, i saw that my page load score is faster without the cdn, how is that possible?

* i do use plugin to make lazy loading of images, could that be related?
