<font _mstmutation=”1″></font>When I turn on the “Allow Site Kit to place AdSense code on your site” toggle, it turns off again on refresh. And I can’t enable this plugin on the site. What is the problem?

Hi there @sfett, thanks for opening a support topic and sorry to hear you’re having troubles with the AdSense toggle. To help you with this, please could you share the following:

    1. Your?Site Health information. You can?use this form?to share privately if preferred.?
    2. Have you manually placed any AdSense code on your site before connecting the AdSense module in Site Kit?
    3. Could you share a video of this happening? You can use a service such as Loom to capture this and share the video URL here or in the private form you submit.

Let me know if you have any questions on the above information.

@sfett Thanks for sharing. If you have manually placed the AdSense code then you do not need Site Kit to place it for you. So this option doesn’t need to be selected. It does look like your AdSense account/site are not ready at this time which is why you cannot complete to module connection in Site Kit.

If you share the Site Health information I requested above then I can check these statuses for you and confirm that.

Yes, I sent in the completed form

One more thing, in my adsense account, in the site section, the status of the ads.txt file is not found, but it was fine right away. I didn’t do anything – what could have changed?

@sfett Unfortunately I don’t see the Site Health form so could you try this again?

We’re limited to plugin related queries here in the Site Kit support forums, but you can reach out in the?AdSense Help Center?for assistance with ads.txt queries.

Note that if you did already ads an ads.txt file to your site, it may take some time for the AdSense team to check this ads.txt file and update your status. It’s possible you already do have a valid ads.txt file placed.

If you are having trouble setting up your ads.txt file, you can use a plugin such as?ads.txt manager.

Finally, you can use the below guide for assistance with ads.txt files for your site. As mentioned, it can take a few days before your status changes within the AdSense platform, after you’ve submitted your ads.txt file.?https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/12171612?hl=en
