    Hi @usahousinginfo,

Thanks for opening a support topic @usahousinginfo. So we can assist you with this, can you share your Site Health information and we can check your setup? For the monetization section to be present, the AdSense module must be connected.

Note also there what you see within the monetization section will differ slightly if you’re using Google Analytics 4 reporting on the main Site Kit dashboard. Once we have your Site Health information we can determine more on this.

Hi James, I’ve sent the site health info. In my sitekit dashboard, only Traffic, Content and Speed is visible but the Monetization option is not visible. adsense is connected but it is in review right now. waiting for adsense approval but still the Monetization option should be visible right?

Thanks for the update @usahousinginfo. If your AdSense status remains as getting-ready, which is the case at present, the monetization tab won’t be present on the Site Kit dashboard. You may have noticed this section previously, before connecting AdSense, however, this appears only as a suggestion to connect your site with AdSense. As soon as you start the process this prompt is no longer applicable.

Hopefully the AdSense team will review your site soon. If and when it’s approved for ads, the status will change to “Approved”, at which point you’ll notice the monetization section that displays your AdSense data.

Let me know if you have any further questions on this.

Thanks for the update, just one more doubt. In my adsense account it is written “Site Kit by Google will connect your site to AdSense.” How does it detect the publisher ID? also can i change the pub id somewhere using Sitekit or I have to do it in the header.php section of my website?

@usahousinginfo When connecting AdSense you would have been asked to connect your Google account. It uses this Google account to retrieve your AdSense publisher ID, there is no need to manually obtain it.

also can i change the pub id somewhere using Sitekit or I have to do it in the header.php section of my website?

A users AdSense publisher ID is automatically generated, this can’t be changed. Using Site Kit to insert your AdSense code snippet also means you don’t need to manually insert ad code on your website, the plugin does this for you by default.

Let me know if you have any further questions with the above.

As we didn’t receive a response I’ll mark this as resolved. Feel free to open a new support topic if you continue to encounter issues, or reopen this topic and we’d be happy to assist.
