    Solved by changing the settings for the payment screen. The default setting is sending the WordPress Language, I changed it to Dutch and the problem is solved.

    You were probably using a locale (language + region) in WordPress that our API does not support. When you select Dutch from the dropdown the plugin explicitly sends nl_NL (Dutch in The Netherlands) to our API, which our API does support.
