Mollie Infinite loading after update 5.2.0

    Hi everyone,

    Yesterday i updated mollie to the latest version and unfortunately it is not working as it should anymore

    When i go to the checkout page the “my order/shipping/payment/” part keeps on loading forever

    What i tried
    – Disabled all custom snippets
    – Disabled most payment methods within mollie
    – Disabled other plugins that are active in the cart/checkout
    – Disabling Mollie stops the issue, so it is definitely related to the loading of the payment methods.

    I would like to point out that mollie has been working properly before the update.

    Any ideas what can be causing this?

    We’ve noticed the same thing in one of our shops. A look at the server logs showed the following error:

    Got error 'PHP message: PHP Recoverable fatal error: Object of class WC_Gateway_BACS could not be converted to string in <<path to plugins folder>>/mollie-payments-for-woocommerce/includes/mollie/wc/plugin.php on line 432\n'.

    We’ve downgraded our site to use the old plugin again. Hope the error messages will be helpful.

    we also had this issue on our shops with the new version – after downgrade to 5.1.8 all seems fine.

    Happy to announce that the problem on my website was just fixed with the newest release (5.2.1)
