Mollie doesn’t work with Woocommerce blocks

Currently, Woocommerce Blocks is not yet supported by the Mollie plugin.
But we are aware that this is the direction things will be moving to, so we are of course interested in adding compatibility and are investigating what needs to happen to make it work.
It is too early for me to make any commitments, but we are looking at our available options.

Thnx for your fast response and that you are looking for the options. Can you say maybe at what time you can say yes or no for the support for Woocommerce blocks and Mollie? Not the exact date or something, but that i have an indication for my webshop if i can implement it or not.

Since we are developing this plugin for Mollie, we have constraints and cannot integrate every feature we would like to have included.
But we believe in a block-based future for WordPress and WooCommerce, therefore we are keeping a close eye on this.
There are still many things to clarify before we can actually work on adding support for block solutions, but we appreciate your feedback.
Every voice we receive will help us with getting closer to this.
But please understand that I am not comfortable in giving any time frames. It might happen sometime this year, it might not (but I certainly hope!).
I will gladly let you know as soon as I can get any new information on this.

Thank you very much! The work that you are doing is great!

Hope Mollie will work with Woocommerce Blocks very soon. The checkout page is so much nicer to have on my webshop then the standard one.

Thanks, everyone for raising your voices.
We are moving forward as planned with the Blocks integration. It is our next major feature on the agenda.
It will still take a bit more time because the preparation was very extensive and we, of course, want to get it right. But I think sometime in early Q3 we will be in a position to share more details.
So, it will be coming. But as it is with good things, they may take some time.
We appreciate all of your feedback.

Any updates on this? Would like to see mollie work within the built in woocommerce checkout block! What an improvement in comparison with standard woocommerce checkout….

Hello everyone,

Apologies for the silence, there was not much to report back previously apart from that we are progressing as expected.
Since the Mollie plugin combines almost 20 different gateways and every single gateway (plus certain features) requires its own blocks, there is quite a number of blocks being developed as we speak ??
The feature should be launching sometime later this year, but I can’t give any specifics beyond that as there is still a lot of work left to do.
But I will gladly provide a status update when we have a better idea about the release window.

Hi! I’m wondering if there’s an update about this. I spent a week finetuning and tweaking my soon to be launched webshop with the new Woocommerce Block layouts for Checkout and Cart – only to realize after this whole week of building, that Blocks doesn’t support all payment methods. I looked around, Stripe also doesn’t have iDeal support yet in Woocommerce Blocks – would be a lifesaver if Mollie does support iDeal in Woocommerce Blocks! ??

The internal testing for the Blocks integration will probably start next month and includes blocks for all payment methods, including iDeal. If all goes according to plan, the feature will be out soon after, before the end of the year.
It’s important for us to get it right, so we must ask for a little more patience.

Tough, you can rest assured that I will provide a status update in this thread when we are getting closer to the release.
