• We’ve been using Stripe on our website but want to switch to Mollie. Right now we’re running both as we have existing subscriptions and want to get customers to switch when they need to update their card details next. However, on My Account > Add payment method there is no option to add a card set by Mollie. The Stripe one still shows. I have tried deactivating Stripe to see if it clashes but Mollie still does not show. I have also tried deactivating all other plugins except Woo, Subscriptions, and Mollie but that also didn’t work, neither does changing the theme.

I see that somebody else posted this issue and it was resolved but that seemed to be a plugin clash which is not the case here.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hello @morethanpixelsio

Thanks for reaching out. The behavior you’re experiencing is expected, as Mollie currently does not support manually adding a payment method from the My Account > Add Payment Method section.

This feature is on the roadmap for a future update, but there’s no estimated release date yet. We will let you know as soon as a release date has been confirmed for this feature.

    Regards,
    Femi.

Hi @femiyb thanks for responding so quickly, I must have misunderstood the other support thread that I read.

That would be great if you could let me know when that feature is added. In the meantime what is the best way to get users to update their payment method? Do they need to go through checkout to pay for a subscription renewal?

    Hello

You can find more information on how the Mollie Payment gateway for WooCommerce works with WooCommerce Subscriptions here: https://docs.mollie.com/docs/woo-set-up-subscriptions
