[Modularity] – Buttons missing on certain pages

  • Hi everyone,

    I’m having issues with some disappearing buttons on certain posts of my Modularity-themed site.

    The site is https://www.roundaboutstudio.com

    If you click on projects -> Palmerston Avenue, the forward button on the top right is missing. ( https://roundaboutstudio.com/palmerston-avenue/ )

    If you click on projects -> Terraplan, it’s the back button that’s missing. ( https://roundaboutstudio.com/terraplan-landscape-architects/ )

    I’m very new to wordpress, but my initial thought was that it might have something to do with an image being formatted too large on the page. That could cause the “edges” to push out past 950px, (the visible limit), causing those buttons to disappear. However, this probably isn’t t he case, but I’m unsure where to start!

    I’m assuming that I have no control over buttons on the actual post, but that it’s controlled via the site-wide editor. Is that the case? I’m a little unsure of where to even begin trying to fix this!

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    I can tell you it’s not as a result of the images displaying outside the edge of the frame… when you look at the code, the divs for those buttons on those pages are set not to display. It’s as though WordPress doesn’t recognize there is a next/previous post for those two.

    I take it each project is a Post, not a Page? I wonder if it has something to do with Permalinks being set to display only the post title. Or it’s possible you need to include those posts in a particular Category. It’s hard to tell you more without seeing the code for the page template and knowing how the settings are configured.
