    Hi there,

since the latest update up to 2.3.1 (wich i did this morning) my entire site is broken, i’ve no idea what happend – my ngnix server is giving me a 502 error page.

When (temporarily) renaming the plugin folder “modula-best-grid-gallery” my frontend was reachable again (and vice versa).

now rolling back to 2.2.8 fixes the issue – anyone else?

    kind regards, Alex

  • Hi @archimedes144,

Thank you for reaching out to us!
Unfortunately this has not happened before so I am unsure what could be causing this.
We will need to investigate further.
Can you please update again and send us the PHP error log so we can take a look?

    Thank you so much,
    Mihaela

    Hi Mihaela,

tried update once again, site was going down again – unfortunately i’ve no access to the php error log at the moment.

now 2.2.8 is installed again, showing me the update to 2.3.1 -> in the changelog is saw version 2.3.0 –> maybe this skip is a problem (for my WP)?

can i do a uninstall of 2.2.8 and install 2.3.1 without losing modula data (galleries, settings)?

    thx for help,
    /Alex

    Hi Alex,

I apologize for the delayed response!
If you deactivate > then delete 2.2.8 and then install 2.3.1 you will not lose your galleries/settings, etc.

That skip should not be the issue. It’s really strange behavior and I would love to help get to the bottom of this. However, without more information (PHP error log) we cannot tell why this happens on your end. I am so sorry.

    Warmly,
    Mihaela

    Hi Mihaela,

deactivating, deleting and reinstall does not resolve the problem.

For testing i moved the whole WP-installation to an other webserver (nginx -> apache) and the update worked fine.

No idea what was going wrong under nginx, anyway -> thanks for your support ??

    kind regards, Alex
