• Hello,
I′ve been trying to add a <meta name=”robots” content=”noindex, follow”> tag to the /post/trackback pages on my blog since they are being indexed by google and are seen as duplicate content all over the site and this is causing me problems.
Anyone know where the trackback page is generated and where I can modify it? I tried wp-trackback.php but the only thing I see are some xml commands to generate it.
    Thanks!

  • trackbacks are not a page and not intended to be opened in any browser. when a browser attmepts to open a trackback link they are redirected to your index.php, or atleast ought to be, unless youve mucked something up.

I′m seeing a bunch of trackback pages indexed in google for my blog. When I click on the results I get a page that says the following:
    OK
    The document has moved here.

I have tested this for other blogs and it′s the same.

thats “mucked up” and there are few posts already here that address that. Fortunately for me, I dont have that trouble, so I cannot help ya, sorry.
