• Hi,

I want to do just what the title says – hack the event page template.

    A few points:

    1. I do not want to show the “end time”
    2. I do not want to show the “category” (I never use it so it’s just blank)

That said, I’m sure there is a php file somewhere in the plugins folder I can modify, but for the life of me I cannot find it.

Can anyone show me the path as to where these parts of the template can be modified?

  • No need to edit a php file ??
IN Dashboard > Events > Settings > Formatting > Single Event you can modify the lay-out to your liking.

To not display the category, simply remove the #_CATEGORYNAME (or something like that).

#_EVENTTIMES will display the start and end time, change that to #_24HSTARTTIME or #_12HSTARTTIME.

    Please look at https://wp-events-plugin.com/documentation/placeholders/
Most of your questions can be solved with the EM docs.

    Patrick, thank you for this!

I thought I looked but did not see there was a section to modify this.

    Highly appreciate it ??
